Totally Covet the Convert-O Bike
There are some things that are just timeless. Items that look and work as well as they did back in the fifties as they do today. One such piece is the Convert-O Bike. This child’s convertible bike was designed by Anthony Brothers way back in 1949 and over a span of sixty years, it’s still stylish and extremely practical.
The Covert-O Bikes is made from cast aluminum and is made to be nearly indestructible. It also happens to be adjustable to grow with your child. After your little one is done with the trike, the two wheels can be removed and replaced with a single wheel to create a classic bike. Plus the seat can be adjusted to your child’s changing height.
But being totally practical isn’t the best thing about this bike. In my book, it’s the look of this awesome aluminum bike that gives it its’ coolness points. It’s like what the Silver Surfer would ride if he was preschooler. Oh and it just happens to be on sale. You can pick one of these up from Design Within Reach for $227.50 (was $325) right here.
