Lunch Bags To Love Now
Nothing stinks more, um literally, than spoiled snacks and warm juice on a hot summer day (and OK, moms, a hot, fizzy Diet Coke). Keep your kid’s cheese stick, orange slices, yogurt cup, sandwich and juice box cool as a cucumber with…a watermelon–a watermelon bag that is. It’s a real pink, green and seed- dotted slice of heaven. Perfect for picnics, a park play-date, camp, or a day trip–these bright bags are an IT BAG in my opinion. Gucci, what? Prada, who?
The slice of summer lunch bag by dabbawallabags.com, $30, is insulated, promising to hold temp, hot or cold, for hours. There’s even an interior pocket for an ice pack. Inside mess pockets store smaller items like a box of raisins, juice box or bag of crackers. The main compartment measuring 12″Lx11″Wx 5″D is roomy and fit for a sippy cup, Tupperwear box, banana–you name it. Look how roomy it really is:
The easy-to-grip handle is the perfect size for your toddler’s hand, making this bag fun to tote. But in my opinion, the best part is, that this bag is machine-washable and drip-dry. I have to say, I’ve opened my son’s lunch sack one too many times to be bombarded by a sour, funky, pinch-my-nose smell, crumbs galore and once, even caked-up yogurt–ew, grrrross! So, I love that this bag can be tossed in the machine for a thorough cleaning.
