Chic Nursery Art for the Discerning Tyke
Oh those dreaded ABCs. Just another milestone for us moms to brag about or hide in shame over, knowing our kids are nowhere near mastering those pesky letters of the alphabet.
As always, I fall into the latter category.
Every day in every singsong voice imaginable, I sing the ABCs to my son, who has barely even mastered his animal sounds.
And frankly, it’s getting tiring.
So imagine my joy when I spotted this amazing, laser cut wooden alphabet from Book Hou.
Sleek, modern and typographic, the intricately sculpted work of kid room art comes in one piece so there’s no worries about hanging it correctly or aligning all the letters just right. You can even prop it up on a bookshelf and be done with the whole matter.
Now I will let the walls do the talking and laborious singing for me, so we could move on to more important matters like Old MacDonald Had a Farm.
And If by chance your kids are way ahead of the curve and know their ABCs backwards and forwards, I’m happy for you! Really I am. But pleas spare me the adorable details. Me, I’ll be getting the Book Hou piece and hopefully have décor bragging rights if nothing else.
