I was introduced to fresh fruit and vegetable juice during college while shopping in a health food store. It was my first taste of carrot juice and as weird as it may sound, I was instantly hooked with it’s refreshing, sweet flavor. Since then I’ve experimented and tried different combinations of juices, either at juice bars or at home with my own juicer.

In case you haven’t noticed, juicing has become quite popular these days, and for very good reasons. It’s an obviously great way to incorporate a nice handful of servings of fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. As our friends at The Daily Meal point out, juicing can be also be great for building your own “diet Rx” for those times when you may feel like you need a boost of some sort. With a little mindful combining of fruits and veggies, you can really give your body what it needs in just a few minutes at home.

What’s your favorite fruit and vegetable juice combination?
