Almond Crusted Tilapia Celebrate National Almond Day With Crunchy Almond Crusted Tilapia

I learned something new today. I learned that almonds are a fruit. Pretty cool right? This is exactly the reason why we have national food holidays (February 16th is National Almond Day in case you were wondering).

Almonds happen to be one of my favorite nuts to snack on, bake with or cook with. I absolutely love topping my salads with them for some crunch (and of course healthy protein) and if you haven’t tried almond butter then you just must. I have a lot of love for this healthy little nut.

Another great use I have for almonds is to coat chicken or fish with them. I’ve made this Almond-Crusted Tilapia recipe from The Meal Makeover Moms a few times for my family now and it has always been a hit. The flavor and texture from the crunchy almond coating is absolutely delicious. I know you will just love it!
If you want to make this tasty and healthy fish dish for your family at home, you can find The Meal Makeover Moms recipe here on Aggie’s Kitchen.
