Maybe it was all those sweet goodies yesterday on Valentine’s day, but I’ve been craving junk food all day. Not sweets, I’m craving salty foods today like chips and french fries alongside a big juicy burger or hot dog. The last time I made homemade fries though, it didn’t seem like my hot sauce spiked ordinary ketchup was really the right thing to serve with them. It seemed too boring. I thought that there must be an alternative to ordinary bottled ketchup.

So I browsed through some of my favorite food blogs today and found some great ideas for homemade ketchup. Featured above is a simple homemade ketchup by Julie, and below are 7 more fabulous recipes for different homemade ketchups.
