Valentine’s Conversation Heart Martinis…For the Adults!
I couldn’t help myself, I just had to make a red martini for Valentine’s Day. We are not huge martini drinkers, but that doesn’t matter one holiday out of the year. Making this is so simple and fun it is virtually impossible not to try it. When I made these the other night for a test run I clinked glasses after my daughter as asleep. I imagine we’ll be doing the same thing on Valentine’s Day!
Conversation Heart Martinis
4 ounces strawberry vodka
2 ounces peach schnapps
2 ounces pineapple juice
Cherries & Conversation Hearts for garnish
Pink sanding sugar for the rims
1. Rim two martini glasses with pink sanding sugar.
2. Mix the vodka, schnapps and pineapple juice in a shaker with two or three ice cubes and pour through a strainer into the rimmed glasses. Garnish with cherries and hearts.
