Hot Diggity Dog: The Best Hot Dogs On The Block
My husband and I visited a fun little place this weekend in Orlando called Frank & Steins, which if you didn’t figure out by the name, served hot dogs and beer. And not just any hot dogs and beer either, but an extensive selection of craft and imported beers as well as a menu of gourmet franks to choose from. After chowing down on our super tasty Spicy Cubano and French Dip Franks, I wanted to scour around the internet to see what types of hot dog creations people are making at home. Hot dogs are one of those foods that can easily be enjoyed simply with ketchup or mustard or taken to a whole new level of deliciousness with a little extra effort. Take Bev’s Gourmet Chili Dogs (shown above) for instance. This girl brought the everyday dog to a new level. And not just by topping it with amazing chili and cheese either. Her dogs are nestled into soft, grilled baguettes. My mouth is watering…how about yours?
Have fun and come up with your own version of gourmet hot dogs at home…here are a few pretty awesome and delicious hot dog creations to get you going:
