The only problem with white potatoes is that their glycemic index is incredibly high. So when you’re talking about a food that will fill you up and not leave you feeling super-hungry again in only a few hours, this is not a good choice to include in the mix. Peanut butter has heart-healthy fats and tons of protein. Apples, beans and prunes all have a lot of fiber; Fat, protein and fiber will all keep you fuller longer, without raising your blood sugar. It’s best to steer clear of starchy carbs like white potatoes, white rice, bleached flour products, etc – for dieters they can sabotage your efforts, because you’re hungry again in only an hour or two which can lead to MORE calories being consumed during the day instead of fewer.

I am shocked about the white potatoes being on there as well. Sweet potatoes are a MUCH better choice. Additionally, microwaves change the entire molecular form of the foods put in there. It uses radiation which should be an obvious no-no. Steam or bake your vegetables for optimum quality. Additionally, try quinoa instead of rice. It’s a super food that cooks the same way as rice yet has double the daily value of vitamins in just one serving. Try cooking up some black eye peas mixed with peppers, kale and some bacon, serve on top of quinoa and you’ll have extremely tasty meal – with a kick! It’ll not only fill you up, but provide an amazing amount necessary vitamins and antioxidants. :)

Can you please make a list for people with fast metabolism? That’ll be great cause people such as myself are actually trying to gain weight and all we really see is this lose weight crap which really bothers and pisses me off… It sucks how people like me (If they’re a female) can only gain weight by getting pregnant
