Top Cooking Apps for the iPhone, iPad, Kindle and Android

A new year is upon us. If you’re like many people, you’ll be thinking of New Year’s Resolutions and considering what yours will be for the coming year. May I urge you to consider cooking dinner more often? Did you know that “…Americans spend more time watching cooking on the Food Network, than actually preparing their own meals,” according to Dr. Hyman.
So, get off your duff, turn off the TV and get in the kitchen this year. Your family and your health will thank you. Plus, these apps for the Kindle and Android make it easy to get in the kitchen and have fun while doing it.
Of course, there are a few apps that aren’t available for anything but the iPhone. Such is life. However, if I had an iPhone, this is the one I would download without hesitation: How to Cook Everything from Mark Bittman.
