Sparkling Cider Jello Shooters for New Year’s Eve
We’ll be having some fun with friends this new year’s eve and I have been trying to think of a few great drinks to take along with me. One of the things that we’ve been thinking about making are these sparkling cider jello shooters. They are festive, fun and are great for both kids and adults. Of course, if you want to make an adult version there is nothing wrong with adding a little vodka. Either way, these cute drinks are bound to be a hit!
Sparkling Jello Shooters
4 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
3 cups boiling apple cider
1 cup sprite, cold
Strawberries for garnish
Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold sprite in a large boil and let sit for one minute. Meanwhile, warm the cider in a small saucepan until boiling. Once it is boiling stir it into the Sprite mixture until everything is dissolved. Pour into shot glasses and or into a shallow baking dish. Add the strawberries and place in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or until completely set. Serve.
