Homemade 3-Ingredient Candy Corn Butterfinger Bars
I found this recipe online from a website called Plain Chicken and it looked so simple and cool I totally had to try it. I am thrilled to report that it actually worked really well. They are definitely not quite as crispy as a butterfinger, but they definitely have the same flavor and appeal. I totally recommend that everyone give these a try. Best of all, they can even be made with all that leftover candy corn you have after trick-or-treating!
Homemade Candy Corn Buttefinger Bars
adapted from Plain Chicken
1 lb. candy corn
16oz jar creamy peanut butter
16 ounces semisweet chocolate
1. Place the candy corn in a heatproof bowl and microwave for one minute. Continue to cook for ten second intervals until the candy corn is totally melted. Stir in the peanut butter until completely smooth. Work quickly because the candy corn will seize quickly.
2. Line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper and pour in the candy corn mixture. Allow to cool completely. Cut into squares.
3. Melt the remaining chocolate the microwave until smooth. Dip the candy corn squares into the chocolate. Place them on wax paper and place in the fridge until set.
