Are there any Real Housewives of New Jersey fans out there?
Whether or not you watch the show, you are probably familiar with feisty Teresa Giudice, most infamously known for her sassy attitude, as well as her fiery temper resulting in a flipping table moment at dinner.
But that’s besides the point. Teresa, like most Italian women, also loves to cook. Her second cookbook, Fabulicious, is a collection of her traditional family recipes… simple, fresh and delicious Italian recipes for the experienced cook as well as for someone just wanting to learn how to prepare good Italian food. Her book includes recipes from quickie tomato sauces to one of my favorite Italian meals, sausage and peppers. She also shares her mother’s meatball recipe along with instructions on how to roast red peppers, a staple in Italian cooking.

Chopping garlic and having that fantastic smell on my hands hours after the meal is done…the combination of fresh ingredients, resulting in a hearty, healthy meal that almost always leaves enough leftover for a yummy lunch for mom the next day.
