No-Bake S’More Nutella Crunch Bars!
I love a great chocolate dessert that can come together in 2 minutes or less. Like these nutella crunch bars, for example. It is a bit like making chocolate bark, except the result is a thicker bar, more like a candy bar. These are particularly good for summer treats when you don’t want to turn on the oven. And, since they contain chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows, they can double as a s’more when a campfire is unavailable. To give mine a new twist I added a big swirl of nutella to the chocolate. I am thinking of adding chopped hazelnuts next time, too.
S’More Nutella Crunch Bars
1 stick unsalted butter
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, broken into pieces
3 tablespoons nutella
¼ cup light corn syrup
4 graham crackers, crushed into small pieces
2 cups mini-marshmallows
Melt the butter, chocolate, nutella and corn syrup together in a heavy bottom saucepan. Swirl in the mini-marshmallows and graham crackers. Spread the mixture in a 9×9 pan and smooth the top. Place the pan in the freezer until it is completely solid. Cut into small squares and serve.

Also, how did you prevent the marshmallows from melting when you added them to the chocolate/butter/corn syrup?
Laura commented on May 26 11 at 10:56 amWhat a fun recipe for the beach. This is taking s’mores to a whole new level. I did a Nutella roundup on my blog and your recipe was included on that roundup.

Erin commented on Jun 14 11 at 1:28 pmHow long does it take for the mixture to become completely solid in the freezer?
Kelsey commented on Jun 14 11 at 4:43 pmHi Erin – I would say an hour at the minimum for the mixture to freeze, two hours would be better!
Michelle commented on Jul 08 11 at 5:51 pmIf making with milk chocolate, i know you would probably omit the butter but would you still use the light corn syrup?
Kelsey/TheNaptimeChef commented on Jul 10 11 at 4:26 pmHi Michelle, yes, use the corn syrup! Enjoy!
