I was hooked after attending the 2009 Kentucky Derby — mainly to visit a few notable Louisville bars: The Brown Hotel, Proof on Main, and The Old Seelbach Hilton. Getting a couple mint juleps paid for by a 50-to-1 Derby winner was a definite plus! I mentioned the Hot Brown, the original fourthmeal, in my blog post on the subject.
