Angry Birds Babybel

Babybel Angry Bird 1 Angry Birds Babybel

Are you crazy about Angry Birds? You know the cult game sweeping just about every smart phone in the nation ; ) Well my kids are crazy about Angry Birds so when I saw THIS adorable Angry Birds snack I knew I had to try to re-create it for them.
It’s made from Babybel Cheese. We love those round pieces of cheesy goodness. What’s not to love right. They come in the most beautiful bright red packaging and there’s just something about peeling back that wax and popping one {or two, or three, okay told you we liked them} into your mouth.

It took a little finagling {the parts are very small after all} but I think they turned out. The kids got a huge kick out of them! I think they’d even be perfect to send as a little surprise in their lunch box or would be a fun conversation starter at a party!

Here’s how we made them:

What you’ll need:
Babybel Cheese
Cheese Slice
Flour Tortilla
Sushi Wrapper

What to do:
1. Carefully cut a small semi circle from the bottom of the babybel cheese. Do not discard removed wax. I used a sharp pairing knife.

2. Cut 2 circles from the tortillas to use as the eyes. I used a cupcake decorating tip for this.

3. Cut the beak from a cheese slice. I used a sharp pairing knife.

4. Carefully cut the tail pieces, eyebrows and eye balls from the sushi wrapper. I used scissors.

5. Using the removed piece of red wax, cut the birds crest. I used a sharp pairing knife.

Paula, you are awesome! I love these! I think I need to try these, just so I can slip one into my hubby’s work bag for a little stress relieving work laugh. :)

Giving away freebies and free samples is the best way for companies to introduce their products to you. Best place is “123 Get Samples” Best of all, there is no obligation on your part.
