Peanutella Haystacks (Peanut Butter & Nutella Haystacks!)
Do you remember the butterscotch haystacks recipe you used to see on the back to butterscotch chips bags? They were amazing and so easy to make! The other day I came across a bag of chow mein noodles in the grocery story and was reminded of that favorite treat so I decided to make them again. But this time with peanut butter and nutella. That is, Peanutella. I melted peanut butter and nutella together, stirred in the crunchy noodles and pretty much had the best snack I’ve ever tasted. I scooped the mixture into loose balls, chilled them for a bit and pretty much devoured them on the spot after dinner. Enjoy!
Peanutella Haystacks
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
3/4 cup nutella
10 ounces chow mein noodles
1. Melt the peanut butter and nutella together in a small saucepan or in the microwave. Stir in the chow mein noodles until everything is coated. Scoop the noodles in mounds on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Chill for two hours and serve.
