Monster Cookies, with their crisp and chewy peanut butter cookie base, gooey chocolate chips, and crunchy M&M’s are pretty much off the hizook.  But these Peanut Butter Cup Monster Cookies aren’t your average Monster Cookies.  Nay.  These awesome little suckers have a peanut butter cup hidden right inside the cookies.  Yep. Da bomb.  You can say it.  You can totally pull out your slang from the 1990′s, because there’s not a single gosh darned word that has yet been invented this century to describe the sheer radicalness of these incredible cookies.  Snaps.

  • 1 Peanut Butter Betty Crocker Cookie Mix
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 6-8 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (standard size)
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M’s

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, butter, egg, and vanilla until well mixed.  Stir in the chocolate chips.  Scoop 1/4 cup of cookie dough from the bowl and press it around a Reese’s peanut butter cup.  Make sure the dough is sealed completely around the peanut butter cup.  Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment and press M&M’s all over the top of the cookie dough.  Repeat this process with all of the dough, then bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies are set in the center. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before transfering to a wire cooling rack with a metal spatula.  Cool and enjoy!

These look amazing, but I see nothing about mixing the cookie dough in the large bowl with the butter, eggs, etc?
Do you cut the Reece’s cups into pieces? You don’t put an entire cup inside one cookie do you? That would definitely be ‘radical’! Maybe you only make 6 to 8 cookies with one recipe?
Please clarify so I can make these the right way before I just eat the cups, m n m’s, chips, and raw cookie dough!

These were amazing! Just made them in my dorm and they were devoured with several comments of “these are the best cookies I’ve ever had!!” Thanks so much for the recipe!

I also have a few questions about these! Do you cut the reeses in half or does this only make 6-8 cookies?!?
