Vegan Diet: 10 Delicious Vegan Recipes for the Oprah Vegan Challenge
Today Oprah challenged her staff to spend a full week eating an exclusively vegan diet. By definition this means food made without any meat or animal products including dairy, eggs or milk byproducts. A vegan diet is mostly a plant based diet and is good for your body and for the environment. To help Oprah and her staffers along we have rounded up ten of our most delicious vegan recipes. These all fit the general standards for a vegan diet, without compromising taste. Because, as you all know, a plant based diet can be absolutely delicious, and we have the recipes to prove that is the case! If you have any more great vegan recipes, please share!

Kimberly/Mom in the City commented on Feb 01 11 at 7:52 pmVegan diets are HUGE right now. I’m not vegan but I just posted a Vegan German Chocolate Cake Recipe on my site yesterday: http://mominthecity.com/wp/vegan-german-chocolate-cake-recipe-courtesy-of-alices-tea-cup/

Nathan Goodman commented on Feb 03 11 at 7:54 amWhat about vitamin b12 deficiency? Aren’t vegans at a high risk of getting anemic? The vegan diet is missing foods which are richest in vitamin b12, which is necessary for neurological and metabolic functioning?
