Green Cream Soda: A Monstrously Delicious Halloween Treat
Are you panicking? We’re two days away from Halloween, and you’re just now finding the time to google party food ideas. No worries! Whether you need a crowd-pleasing Halloween treat ten minutes from now, or ten hours from now, this easy, eyecatching Halloween Ice Cream Soda is sure to do the trick! Kids and adults will ooh and ahh over the clever colors and pleasantly creamy flavor of this bright and frightening treat. The best part? You can pull it together in no time at all. With just two simple ingredients, and a couple of cool glasses, you’ve got yourself one heck of a Halloween treat.
Halloween Ice Cream Soda’s
The real secret to super simple, Halloween cream soda’s is to grab yourself a four-pack of Jones soda. They come in all sorts of electric colors. My trick-or-treaters love the blue bubblegum and green apple soda (pictured). Of course, if you’re short on time, a dab of food coloring into a cup full of Sprite or 7-Up will also do the trick. Try tipping a capful of vanilla into the soda, if you plan on going with the Sprite route. It will kick up the flavor of the soda’s, combining with the ice cream for pure yumminess.
1 bottle Jones soda
2 scoops ice cream
1 sundae glass
Pour the soda into the sundae glass, leaving 1-2 inches of space at the top. Scoop ice cream on top of the soda. Serve immediately.
