Baked Salmon with Savory Mayonniase
Back in July, I saw a friend in Arizona and she told me one of the best meals I ever made her was the Salmon with the mayonnaise on top if it.
I had forgotten about that impromptu recipe so I am have been using it again and gosh, it does produce moist fish…
Ingredients:
1 lb. Alaskan Salmon Filet/s
1/2 cup light mayonnaise
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 fresh dill or 1/8 teaspoon dried dill
1/8 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients from mayonnaise through pepper in a small bowl.
Place the Salmon in an oven safe dish and dry off the top of the Salmon. Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the fish, covering the sides as well.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish.
