I am an apron wearer!

Jennifer Savor the Thyme commented on Sep 07 10 at 6:20 am

I’m a mess in the kitchen. I rarely stay clean, so would love to have an apron :)

Kim commented on Sep 07 10 at 7:49 am

I usually do wear an apron, but it’s pretty utilitarian. Unfortunately, after a kitchen reno this summer, I can’t find any of the aprons I own! I’ve been tucking a tea towel into the top of my pants. I’d prefer a pretty, proper apron though. :)

Leanne commented on Sep 07 10 at 8:14 am

I usually wear an apron when I’m doing complicated/messy things like canning, but rarely for everyday cooking…I’m the queen of the 30 minute dinner!

Susan commented on Sep 07 10 at 8:56 am

I need to become an apron wearer. My wardrobe is a bit more worse for the wear these days now that I’m cooking more!

The SA apron is GORGEOUS!

Dawn K. commented on Sep 07 10 at 9:18 am

I do have an apron I wear in the kitchen (tho its not very ‘cute’). I tend to wipe my dirty hands on my pant legs… so an apron is great for me! =)

Jen R commented on Sep 07 10 at 10:22 am

I LOVE aprons, and have 3, but most of the time I forget to put one on! lol……but once I do, I’ve been known to leave it on most of the day!
These are just ADORABLE!!

TidyMom commented on Sep 07 10 at 12:29 pm

Totally. If I’m doing anything where my hands get dirty and I might be tempted to wipe them on my clothes…the apron is a MUST.

Lisa commented on Sep 07 10 at 12:37 pm

I have my Mother-in-laws collection of aprons hanging on the wall in my Dining Room. And sadly usually forget to wear an apron.
I need to change that.
These aprons are super cute!

i only wear an apron when i grill out. i own only 1 and its for grilling. retweeted, good luck all.

brenda ziegelmeier commented on Sep 07 10 at 2:43 pm

sometimes I forget to wear an apron, but I swear things turn out better in the kitchen when I do remember. I have several hanging in our hall closet, but some day when we’re done with school I’ll have them hanging on hooks on the wall – the hooks will be made out of bent silverware nailed into the wall of a home a bit larger than the one we’re in now. :) I love aprons!! These are so cute.

stacey commented on Sep 07 10 at 3:06 pm

I never wear an apron when baking. Instead I’m usually dressed in an old t-shirt and by the end it’s always covered in flour, etc.

Liz commented on Sep 07 10 at 4:45 pm

My apron has cupcakes on it, so I’ve like to win this one for my sister :)

Sarah commented on Sep 07 10 at 6:23 pm

I love aprons and have several including one that belonged to my grandma. I have my apron collection hanging on a Bon Appetite sign in my kitchen.

Joan commented on Sep 07 10 at 6:39 pm

I actually don’t wear one – and I don’t stay clean! lol. I really need one.

Cassandra commented on Sep 07 10 at 7:15 pm

Also, I tweeted!

Cassandra commented on Sep 07 10 at 7:17 pm

Yes! I have lots of aprons!!! I don’t know what I would do without them….and there’s always room for 1 more. :)

bridget {bake at 350} commented on Sep 07 10 at 8:15 pm

I love aprons. I feel like I’m dressing the part of a real cook when I wear one. I don’t think you can have too many, can you?

michelle v. commented on Sep 08 10 at 12:17 am

Sporting an apron when I bake – perfect for this one too!!! I tweeted, pick me! Pick me! :)

Denise commented on Sep 08 10 at 12:27 am

Lovely carrot cake recipe, will try it soon!
Love the apron in the picture, always wear one, with a teatowel tucked in the belt to wipe my hands.

Annetje commented on Sep 08 10 at 2:54 am

I wear an apron and so does my 5 year old when she helps me in the kitchen. I used to work for Vons part-time a few years ago so I use that. My intention was to take off the Vons letters and find something that I really liked to replace it and have an original apron, but I can’t find anything that I like. My daughter wears one that I bought her from Target. It is so cute and looks great whether she cooks with me or uses her Easy Bake Oven!

Denisha commented on Sep 08 10 at 3:22 am

i usually don’t wear an apron… i just don’t have one right now, if i am attempting to stay clean i wear a kitchen towel around my waist tucked in my pants… which usually never works.

Kate Bakka commented on Sep 08 10 at 11:23 am

Yes, I have one apron! It is a french bistro tablecoth type apron. I love it, but have had the same one for 14 years. I could use a new one!

liz commented on Sep 08 10 at 2:34 pm

I tweeted (@lizfrances)!

liz commented on Sep 08 10 at 2:35 pm

I usually only wear an apron when I bake to keep off all the powdery ingredients tend to wipe on myself :P Its just a solid red boring apron :P

Wendy commented on Sep 08 10 at 11:56 pm

Usually my husband does the cooking, but when I do, I wear a polka dot apron (my only apron!). I love all things cute, so I’d love to wear this carrot cake apron and eat carrot cake. Yum!!

Cherie commented on Sep 09 10 at 2:37 pm

I don’t have an apron, but after several kitchen spills I should be wearing one!

Miss K commented on Sep 09 10 at 9:32 pm

i wear an apron when am cooking. mostly to keep myself clean and to wipe my hands- eew! but true

jackie commented on Sep 10 10 at 7:46 am

I have a few aprons, most of them are plain, nothing as cute as this carrot cake apron. I do have one with flowers on it that my Grandpa gave me. It’s like the ones my Grandma used to wear. And with two little boys running into the kitchen every time I start cooking (they love helping me) I certainly need the covering!

Christina commented on Sep 11 10 at 12:37 am

I wear an apron I made myself when I cook food that splatters, or when baking. It’s also very handy to wipe little hands on when they’re helping me! My girls are almost 5 and 2, and love to help stir, measure, taste test and pour!

dawn commented on Sep 11 10 at 5:39 pm

I wear an apron sometimes, currently have just a solid white one. Would LOVE a more fashionable apron

heather commented on Sep 12 10 at 2:38 pm

I don’t wear an apron; I just attempt to get out any food that may have gotten on my clothes. I ruined a shirt with curry oil this way once :(

Claire commented on Sep 12 10 at 2:41 pm

I wear an apron that belonged to my Grandmother. She made it herself. I never cook without it. But since the apron is getting on in years its time to get a new one.

Rachel commented on Sep 12 10 at 2:43 pm

I wear an apron. It’s an old, beat up thing that I used to wear when I worked as a waitress. If I don’t have one on when I cook, I end up wiping my hands on my pants and then regretting it come laundry day.

Alicia C. commented on Sep 12 10 at 2:44 pm

I love aprons! So cute and retro. My favorite one is from Anthropologie!

jennifer commented on Sep 12 10 at 3:49 pm

Catherine M commented on Sep 12 10 at 5:07 pm

I have one apron that is Red! I usually where it when I am BBQing or making any dish with red sauce. I would love another apron :)

I don’t wear an apron and I’m alwasy a mess so I could really use one.

Miranda commented on Sep 12 10 at 6:45 pm

I love aprons. I have to have one just to clean the kitchen. My favorite is a standard bakers apron.

Kim commented on Sep 12 10 at 8:10 pm

I definitely wear an apron! It is a hand-me-down from my grandmother that she handmade. Red with white rick-rack!

ANGELA DEJESUS commented on Sep 12 10 at 11:02 pm

I love to wear an apron in the kitchen! I prefer to wear an apron without a top. You know one of those grandma around the waist ones!

Paulette commented on Sep 12 10 at 11:32 pm

Hi There! I usually wear a pink WS apron that has seen better days. Or,one of my daughter’s art smocks–one of my husbands old work shirts! It leaves no inch uncovered for flying sauce and I can wear it over my clothes if I’m already dressed for an occasion without a worry!

Tracey commented on Sep 13 10 at 3:42 pm

I have not been wearing an apron. I do have a couple of my grandmother’s aprons, but hate to wear them. I am afraid I will ruin them.

Shelly T. commented on Sep 14 10 at 1:14 am

I wear a little yellow half apron but I need a full apron because I’m a very messy cook!
