At some point, we need to switch things up, especially when our kids are stuck in a rut of wanting to eat their favorites. one of the American childhood favorites is the Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich.

Well, Catherine McCord of www.weelicious.com has developed, for lilsugar.com, five fresh ways to enjoy the PB&J. My favorite, and photo to the left is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Pancake Sandwich.

Also, included in the line up are the PB&J Panini, Thumbprint Cookies, Swirled Yogurt and Pinwheels. These recipes are part of a series titled ‘Out of the Lunch Box’ that lilsugar is doing throughout September.

Love this concept! I recently sampled a recipe for PB&J cupcakes… would this count? :) I’m sure my girls wouldn’t complain if they found one in their lunchbox!
