S’mores à la Carte for National S’mores Day
It’s National S’mores Day, and I wanted to celebrate by showing you my favorite way of eating s’mores. The traditional method of graham cracker, toasted marshmallow, chocolate bar is plenty good, but it’s a bit flat, especially when you’ve been eating them for so many years. The obvious answer for me is an à la carte buffet of delicious s’mores toppings.
The concept is simple: Add variety and flare to your traditional s’mores with a few side items. Choose your favorite fruits, nuts, candies and sauces. There’s a s’more for everyone in this dessert!
The possibilities are endless: Banana and coconut with a bit of caramel. Peanut butter and banana. Chocolate-dipped raspberry s’mores. Yum. Let everyone choose their toppings and enjoy.

S’mores à la Carte
Graham Crackers
Fudge-Striped Cookies
Biscuits of all sorts
Fruit: berries, bananas and apple slices work best
Coconut
Nuts: macadamia nuts, slivered almonds, pecans
Melted Chocolate
Hot Caramel
Jams
Chocolate Pieces
Peanut Butter
MARSHMALLOWS!
Toast marshmallows until golden brown. Place marshmallow on one cracker or cookie of choice. Top with sauces and fruit and nuts of your choosing. Press firmly with a second cracker or cookie. Eat. Lick fingers. Repeat.

Thanks so much!
