beans and toast 300x200 Open A Can Dinner The ingredients listed on the back of a can of Trader Joe’s delicious organic baked beans are basic, wholesome, recognizable when I say them out loud to my children. So on those nights of the week when I just can’t face a chop or a mince or a broil or a boil — or another Trader Joe’s frozen pizza — how on earth can I feel bad about cracking open a can of them? I toast up a baguette and present them to my daughters as beans-on-toast.
