Friday Night Popcorn
I almost always give myself the night off from cooking on Fridays and try to do something unwind-y. Usually it’s going out to dinner, but sometimes it’s just something from the freezer (these days it’s all about the Chicken Shu Mai at TJoes) and then a movie with the kids. We’re surprising them with The Love Bug tonight. They loved it when they saw it at a friend’s house a few months ago and now call all VW Bugs they see “Herbies,” which warms my heart. And of course, if it’s movie night, it’s popcorn night — I bought two official popcorn buckets for them awhile ago and they pretty much refuse to press play until the container is in their hands. What are your Friday night rituals? Please share!

Uncle Roger commented on Mar 23 10 at 3:56 amFriday night is Burrito night for us. Lengua burritos for my oldest son and I, Lengua tacos for the baby, either a lengua or chicken quesadilla for my daughter and a veggie burrito for the missus (she’s the weird one).
Of course, it helps that we have fantastic taquerias around here. 8^)
