Former “Price Is Right” model Shane Stirling filed a lawsuit on Friday in L.A. County Superior Court claiming that she was “forced into an early pregnancy leave, was not allowed to return to work for almost a year after her child’s birth, and was fired abruptly.”
Stirling also claims that former host Bob Barker played a huge role in her early departure by stating that it was “dangerous” and a “liability” for her to work during her pregnancy. He then advised her to “go home and take care of your baby.”
Is this the revenge of an angry model, or a legitimate claim? The fact that this is the second suit of this nature that has been filed against the game show does not help its defense. Continue reading »
