Jenna Fischer and the cast of The Office are excited for Will Ferrell’s gig on the popular sitcom.
“He’s doing a good job,” Fischer said. “Will’s on set now.”
Fischer is most excited to see Carell and Ferrell in action together.
“I think it’s going to be fun,” she said. “I’m looking forward to sort of being an audience to that.”
Farrell’s character will attempt to take over the role of Michael Scott (Steve Carrell), who is leaving the show at the end of this season.
“They don’t want us to give away too much about his character, but he does, have some scenes with Michael,” Fischer explained.
“He is going to be someone who is potentially taking over the office, so he comes in to interview and try-out for the job.”
Wedding Crashers stars Owen Wilson as John Beckwith and Vince Vaughn as his best friend and fellow wedding crasher Jeremy Grey. Rachel McAdams plays Claire Cleary with a hilarious performance by Isla Fisher as youngest sister Gloria Cleary. There is brief appearance by Will Ferrell that almost steals the movie but Wedding Crashers is just laugh out loud funny.
The story follows divorce mediators John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey, who are business partners and best friends who love to crash weddings. These wedding crashers have a strict code of rules to meet and pick up women at weddings. The wild men get more than the bargained for when they crash the Cleary wedding and both John and Jeremy fall in love.

Will Ferrel The Office's New Employee
Will Ferrell is coming to The Office! On the heels of Steve Carrell’s departure, Will Ferrell was just hired to play a branch manager from Dunder Mifflin’s home office. Is Will Ferrell replacing Steve Carell since he is leaving the show?
Will Ferrell will join The Office when Steve Carell leaves. Ferrell will be guest-starring in the TV series in a four episode arc near the end of the season, according to Huffington Post.
I love Will Ferrell! The man can read the phone book and make it funny. He could. Steve Carell’s gig on The Office is ending and his replacement at Dunder Mifflin is still a mystery. So it looks like Will Ferrell will fill the gap after Carell leaves. Continue reading »

Last night Comedy Central premiered “Big Lake,” a show about a Wall Street trader who hits some hard times (oops! he accidentally shut down a bank and sparked a Congressional hearing) and is forced to move back in with his parents. That’s a little awkward, since he lost nearly $400,000 of his mom and dad’s retirement account as well.
The show is notable for several reasons, not the least of which it marks former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Horatio Sanz’ first notable job since leaving the show and dropping 100 (!) pounds.
But it also has a very famous dad behind the scenes who’s responsible for some of the funniest movies of the past decade. Read on to see who it is, to learn who originally had the lead role in the show before he dropped out, and how Sanz dropped all that weight.
