Calm down all you haters. The Obamas did indeed get flu shots and Malia and Sasha both got the N1H1 vaccines. That puts to rest the crazy arguments saying that Obama wouldn’t risk his girls health by having them get the flu shot that he has publicly told everyone to get.
The new White House portrait of the first family has been released. The Obama’s were captured by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. That’s a pretty good gig for the lenswoman who is way way in debt. Leibovitz snapped the casual and cute shot on September 1st in the Green Room at the White House. Check out the photograph of Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia here.
President Barack Obama appeared on David Letterman last night and talked about everything from his family to health care reform. And Obama showed off his keen sense of humor and comic timing, as seen in this clip when Dave asked him about Jimmy Carter’s theory that the recent vitriol and hatred directed towards him in many town hall meetings and debates is fueled by racism. “It’s important to realize that I was actually black before the election,” Obama deadpanned, drawing a huge laugh from the crowd and leaving Dave in hysterics. See the video after the jump.
