Elin Nordegren Purchases $12 Million Home.
Elin Nordegren is making out well for herself as she has just purchased a $12 million dollar home in North Palm Beach, Florida.
I’d like to say it was well worth it to get cheated on and humiliatied in front of all of America, but Nordegren certainly didn’t deserve all the pain she endured. But…it must be nice to have that $100 million divorce settlement.
The two-story home boasts over 17,000 square-feet, eight bathrooms and a 4,700 square-foot basement.
Tiger Woods Not The Only Man In Loredana Jolie's Book
Loredana Jolie, one of Tiger Woods’s many mistresses, is writing a tell-all book all about her exploits with the golfer and father of two. She’s penning the book with a “no-holds-barred” approach, even going so far as to accuse Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, of being a gold digger.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: People will do just about anything to make a buck.
Just days after his divorce from Elin Nordegren was finalized, Tiger Woods moved on, taking out a rather sizeable mortgage for a house he’s building on Florida’s Jupiter Island.
The pro golfer took out a $54.5 million mortgage in Martin County on August 27, and on the legal papers, listed himself as a “single man.”
Woods has agreed to pay back the loan by January 15, 2016–so hopefully he’ll start winning some tournaments to make that possible. Continue reading »
Tiger Woods’ now ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, recently did an interview with People discussing the scandal her family went through–but apparently it wasn’t such an easy decision to talk. After a very long silence, Nordegren spent some time deciding whether or not to break her silence, according to a source who spoke with Popeater.
“After Elin contacted the magazine, she went back and forth many times about doing the interview,” the source said. “This was a major step for Elin and something she thought long and hard about. She wanted to correct a lot of the stories in the press, but at the same time didn’t want to do a tell-all interview that would pick a scab off a very ugly period for her.” Continue reading »
Elin Nordegren’s divorce from Tiger Woods was finalized this week, and, unlike most couples who get divorced routinely around the country, this split was covered by almost every media outlet imaginable. Since Thanksgiving of last year, when rumors of Tiger’s infidelity surfaced (and eventually caused the downward spiral that is the public image of Mr. Woods), reporters from the most respected publications all the way down to the weekly rags sat around salivating for the next juicy bit of information to be released.
In the past couple of months, though, intense media speculation has died down, especially because once Jesse James’s problems hit the web, we kind of forgot about the unfortunate mess that was the Woods-Nordegren marriage. In addition, neither Tiger nor Elin seemed too enthusiastic about sharing their problems with millions of Americans (and who could blame them, really?), so first-hand accounts were few and far between (not counting that creepy commercial using Tiger’s father’s voice before his return to golf).
However, now that the divorce is final, Elin is bringing her side of the story to the limelight. Rachel Uchitel may be keeping herself in the spotlight by starring on VH1′s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, but she’s not allowed to talk about the main source of her fame: Tiger Woods. According to TMZ, Woods and Uchitel have not spoken in months, and that’s exactly how Woods–and all his handlers–want to keep it.
Apparently Woods’ attorneys stipulated, as part of the $10 million deal Uchitel received–that she is absolutely not allowed to speak about Woods publicly–especially not on her new reality show. The attorneys were concerned about Uchitel’s new spotlight on the show, but production sources confirmed Woods’ ex-mistress never spoke a word about the golfer.
Of course, there are myriad reasons why Woods’ attorneys would implement this “ban,” but we have to wonder which of the reasons is the most compelling for them. Continue reading »
Sports Illustrated recently released their “Fortunate 50″ list of the highest-earning American athletes, and in somewhat of a surprising twist, Tiger Woods took the top spot.
The golfer raked in $90 million: $20 million in golf winnings, and $70 million in estimated endorsement deals. Though it’s not shocking that Woods is on the list at all, we can’t help but be slightly surprised that he still made it to the very top, despite the rather rough year he’s had. After all, a sex scandal and major tarnishing of your public image can seriously affect earnings, especially when most of them are coming from endorsements.
