Lindsay Lohan is hardly the first former child star to act poorly in Hollywood. She’s just one of the first to have all her bad acts chronicled by a never-ending flurry of paparazzi following her every move.
On last night’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno former child star Diane Lane opened up about her own teenage years which included grand theft auto!
“Oh, I had my share,” the Secretariat star recalled. “I think it’s really an unfair time to be in the industry and try to grow up in front of the cameras…I don’t know what to say. Aside from my grand theft larceny, I was a good kid! What, you don’t think of me when you think of grand theft auto?”
Aubrey Plaza joked about her run-in with Katie Couric in an elevator on “The Tonight Show”.
The funny actress and comedienne who currently co-stars as April Ludgate on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, used to be a page for NBC during the days when Katie Couric was a network mainstay on Today.
Aubrey was “asked to leave” her position after only four months because, “I would lie a lot,” she told Jay Leno.
While hosting Today, Couric mistakenly took an elevator to the wrong floor, and when she admitted her faux-pas, Plaza turned to her and asked “Are you new here, miss? I can teach you about the elevators.”
Plaza says she eventually let on that she was joking. But even then, Plaza was already using her trademark deadpan face that she even fooled Kouric.
Sorry, Team Coco, but it looks like Conan O’Brien will officially be vacating the Tonight Show chair. But at least he’s getting a big sack of cash as a going away present.
TMZ is reporting that Jay Leno is getting his one-hour, 11:35pm show back and it will be called, The Tonight Show, which means Conan O’Brien is out of a job. Wait – didn’t Leno already leave The Tonight Show to much fanfare? It’s kind of like having a big going-away party for someone who decides not to leave town. All you’re left with is resentment, a dirty apartment and a bunch of leftover hors d’oeuvres.
Conan O’Brien has a spine and he knows how to use it. The Tonight Show host has officially rejected NBC’s offer to move his show to a post-midnight time slot to accommodate Jay Leno’s return to late-night, saying “I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is [The Tonight Show's] destruction.” Go Conan!
