The holidays are fast approaching, and while most celebs are soaking up the sun in Southern California, Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri have been spending their time on the east coast.
The mother-daughter duo was spotted enjoying lunch together yesterday in New York City, where Katie and her husband Tom Cruise have an apartment. They’ve been in the Big Apple quite a bit this past year, so at least they are getting their money’s worth out of the high rent they likely pay!
Katie looked a little worse-for-wear at lunch. Perhaps all of the excitement of getting ready for Santa is taking its toll on her?

Plenty of children all over the world are getting super excited about waking up on Christmas morning and seeing the goodies that Santa left behind for them.
While most kids are happy with gifts from traditional toy stores, some celeb tots wind up with much more lavish presents under their tree.
A new report from In Touch Weekly insists that Suri Cruise will be receiving diamond earrings, fancy dresses, and a pony valued at $100,000. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ rep told Gossip Cop that the story is false, and that Suri will not be receiving Christmas gifts that cost more than some people’s homes.

She’s already earned a reputation as a trend setter, pint-sized fashionista, and A-list celebrity kid, and now Suri Cruise may get to add the title of “published author” to her resume.
A “family friend” of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes told In Touch magazine that 5-year old Suri is in the midst of writing her very own children’s book.
The source reports that in addition to writing the book, Suri is also doing the illustrations herself because she is so talented.

While Suri Cruise leads a very privileged lifestyle, I can’t help but think that it’s kind of tough to be her sometimes. Because her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, are two of the most sought after actors in Hollywood, she is one of the most highly recognized celeb kids by default.
Flashing lights and money hungry photographers follow Suri from coast-to-coast, and judging from plenty of photos taken of her, she is less than thrilled with their presence. In fact, Suri Cruise almost seems like she’s afraid of the paparazzi.
Nine times out of ten, Suri is either running away, hiding her face, or clinging to Tom or Katie when photographs are taken of her.

Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri are often seen out and about in New York and Los Angeles shopping and having fun, but it looks like a trip to the salon hasn’t been a high priority for either of them.
Lately, both mother and daughter have been sporting some pretty stringy and straggly hair. They are in desperate need of hair cuts to get rid of those split ends!
Long hair definitely seems to be “in” right now, but a little trim wouldn’t change Katie or Suri’s look very much. At least they’d both look a bit more polished without messy hair!

This week Suri looked stunning in a boho chic hat, a pink faux fur jacket and a color coordinating dress and chic loafers. The thing that caught our eye are those loafers…they’re so simple yet stylish. And you know what? We found ‘em!
Suri Cruise will likely be the biggest fashionista at her high school.
In your senior high school yearbook, were you listed under any of the superlative categories? Some of the most highly coveted labels at my school were definitely “Most Desirable”, “Prettiest Girl”, “Most Outgoing”, etc.
Unfortunately, I didn’t make it into any of the top categories. I did, however, get listed as “Most Likely to Believe Anything.” Sadly, that label fit me perfectly back when I graduated in 1995, and it still fits to this day. For whatever reason, I’m about as gullible as they come.
I thought it might be fun to speculate as to what high school superlative categories celebrity kids will fall into someday. Since they are already so well known because of their famous parents, plenty of A-list tots will likely be very popular in their high school classes.
If Suri Cruise ever attends regular school, I see her falling into either the category of “Most Stylish”, or “Most Likely to Become a Fashion Designer.”
