Reese Witherspoon Bumpin’ It In Los Angeles (Photos)
It looks like Reese Witherspoon is making her unofficial official debut of her baby bump here (you get what I’m saying). The actress, who hasn’t officially confirmed her pregnancy even though many “sources” around her have already done so, was spotted leaving a friend’s house in Los Angeles looking pretty bumpy.
Reese, who makes it pretty obvious that she hates getting her pics taken by the paparazzi, looked first trimester super-cute in a black dress and black and yellow bag that I absolutely want. Like now.
(I can’t quite read the label on that bag but if anyone can figure it out, let me know, k?)
We wonder if Reese is going to make an announcement soon. She is a super private person so I wouldn’t be surprised if she were forced to say something when her big got obviously big in her sixth month.
20 Celebrity Exes That Are Still Friends And Co-Parents (Photos)
If getting a Facebook friend request from an ex wasn’t awkward enough, how about having to co-parent with them? Sure, divorce can be tough, but thankfully there are celebrity parents out there who know how to keep things civil and manage to stay friendly for the sake of their children.
From Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson, there are dozens of ex-couples who know how to keep things classy between them and keep their divorce drama out of the headlines. Even ex-couple Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, who have seen their fair share of ups and downs, have somehow reconciled and are now co-parenting their two daughters, Sam and Lola, even though they are no longer married.
Check out our photo gallery of other celebrity couples who keep things friendly while they co-parent their children together.
And no, Jon and Kate Gosselin did not make this list. Duh.
Reese Witherspoon Consulted Her Kids Before Planning Baby #3
The news of Reese Witherspoon‘s pregnancy was a shock to most of the world (at least, most of us who hadn’t been scrutinizing her stomach recently). But there are two people who had a pretty good idea of what was going on: her children, 12-year-old Ava and 9-year-old Deacon.
A source reveals to People that she and husband Jim Toth brought the kids into the discussion very soon after they had decided to try for a baby together. “All along, Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family.”
Reese made sure to discuss the topic thoroughly with Ava, who’s on the cusp of adolescence. “Especially [because] Ava is at a sensitive age, Reese always makes sure to consult with her,” says the source. “She is very respectful of Ava’s feelings.”
One other factor that will help make the adjustment easier is Ava and Deacon’s strong relationship with both their father and stepdad.
Confirmed! Reese Witherspoon is Pregnant – But Will She Make an Annoucement?
The most reputable tabloid in the land has confirmed that Reese Witherspoon is pregnant. People Magazine boldly stated “Reese Witherspoon Expecting Baby No. 3.” They stated that, “several Witherspoon pals confirm that yes, the Oscar winner and her husband of almost one year, Hollywood talent agent Jim Toth, are expecting their first child together.” They added that the “friend” added, “they are both thrilled.”
But will Reese come out and actually make the “big announcement?”
What Will Reese Witherspoon Name Her Baby? Bet We Know! (Photos)
Now that the news is official – Reese Witherspoon is pregnant! – we can start the gleeful round of bump-watching and speculation from now until the new little one is born.
Of course, we’re dying to know if she and husband Jim Toth will be having a boy or a girl, and what the little one’s name will be.
But we already have a hunch that Reese will go back to her roots when it comes to picking a moniker for little Baby Toth. She’s a Louisiana girl, remember, and loyalty to the Pelican State runs deep.
Her older two children’s names reflect her heritage. Deacon is not only a surname – it’s common for Southerners to give family names as first names or nicknames – it also reflects the strong faith of the region.
As for daughter Ava? That was the most popular name given to Louisiana baby girls in 2010, according to the Social Security Administration!
So we’re betting that Reese and Jim will keep the tradition going by choosing another of the names favored by Reese’s bayou brethren.
Here are the five most popular boys’ baby names (and girls’ names from second to sixth) in Louisiana. Which do you like? Continue reading »
