Any working mother will tell you that trying to balance her job and being a good mom at the same time is hard, whether she works outside the home, or sits at her kitchen island in front of her laptop. Maintaining a balance between the two can be one of the biggest challenges women face, and even celebrities have the same issues.

Reese Witherspoon is engaged to Jim Toth! Yep…another Hollywood mama is off the market! Christmas definitely seems like a popular time of year for proposals, doesn’t it?
It looks as though Reese Witherspoon will officially be off the market in the next few weeks! A friend of her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, says that he’s been shopping for the perfect engagement ring for her, and wants the proposal to be a surprise. Nice of his friend to sell him out and spoil things for Reese, right?
Reese takes the subject of marriage very seriously, and has been cautious about who she will settle down with and who will be a good step-dad to her kids, Ava and Deacon. The couple has supposedly been “talking constantly about getting married”, and they have even gone to religious marital counseling sessions together.
Ryan Phillippe, 35, had nothing but positive things to say about his relationship with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon and how their kids — Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6, — have fared post-divorce when he appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show today.
“Things are great,” he said. “It is so important as divorced parents to keep that connection. It makes the kids feel better that the parents are interacting. … We go to all the school events together, and we’re there for each other.” And they work together to juggle both of their schedule with the kids. Reese Witherspoon was spotted doing the soccer mom thing over the weekend, bringing son Deacon to his soccer game in Brentwood, California. Along for the outing? Reese’s boyfriend, Jim Toth. The new couple were all smiles, cozying up on the sidelines during the game.
I just love Reese Witherspoon. She seems so normal, running around with her kids and her sneakers and her baseball hat, always with a smile. And admittedly, I have a particular fondness for kiddie soccer. It’s so much fun watching kids that age run around in a tiny little pack, chasing a soccer ball. She looks like one proud mama here—and Toth looks like he’s enjoying himself, too. He’s been spending a lot of time with her kids lately. Could that mean they are serious?

It looked to be a casual, dressed-down affair, but Jennifer Garner’s 38th birthday party on Saturday — which included kids! — was a partial Who’s Who of the Hollywood elite. Among those in attendance: Reese Witherspoon with kids Ava and Deacon along with her high-powered agent beau Jim Toth; Molly Sims; Jason Bateman with his wife and daughter Francesca; Tobey Maguire and wife Jen Meyer with their daughter Ruby; Don Cheadle; Jimmy Kimmel; Jon Favreau; and Lawrence Fishburne.
