Oscars Actresses Go With Red
Hollwood’s actresses were RED hot as they posed on the red carpet at tonight’s Academy Awards. Some of the hottest stars turned up wearing fiery fashions that were flame hot. Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, and Jennifer Lawrence all decided to go against the trend of jewel tones and muted colors by wearing bright red dresses.

The Academy Awards 2011 red carpet is underway and the dresses so far are stunning!
The theme tonight so far is jewel-encrusted dresses! And still some neutrals, which I’m sort of bored of… a few pops of color too even out the red carpet gowns tonight.
Mandy Moore looked beautiful in a jewel encrusted gown as did Michelle Williams in a simple and elegant white Chanel.
Mila Kunis looks stunning in a beautiful purple gown by Elie Saab, probably my favorite look so far.
Jennifer Hudson looks fabulous, loving the pop of color compared to all the neutrals. Hudson is wearing Versace in an orange-red hue.
Scarlett Johansson looks sexy in a deep wine/purple lacy D&G dress. Her hair is totally undone in a cute long bob but she pulls the look off.
Halle Berry is stunning in Marchesa. One of the best on the red carpet!
The Teen Choice Awards aired last night and there really were no surprises with the winners. Mostly because the actual awards were given out on Sunday night and not aired until Monday, leaving no surprises for the actual telecast. Most news agencies were on hand to report the winners and publish pictures of the stars in attendance before the show even hit the airwaves, making it kind of anti-climactic. Award season is here so it’s time for all those stars of the small and big screen to call the sitters and get all dolled up for the red carpet. The lucky ones won’t just get the designer duds and fancy hair-do but they’ll bring home an award or two, or even three (if you’re someone like Meryl Streep that is).
