Who will be Oprah's Next tv star?
Who wouldn’t want their own show on Oprah’s OWN network? After much auditioning, including 9,500 submitting online audition videos and thousands more showing up for open casting calls, the contestants have been narrowed down to ten. These ten will be competing on “Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star.”
The winner of that show will get a show on Oprah’s cable channel.
Nancy O’Dell and Carson Kressley will be the hosts of the competition, which will premiere on January 7th.
It will be interesting to see which contestant wins. Though the ideas behind their shows will count for a lot, I imagine that their personalities will play a much larger role, since whoever wins has to be someone who will draw in the audience.
Brian Masche Offered Plea Bargain
Reality star and father of six Bryan Masche won’t be going to jail after all – that is if he accepts a plea bargain that is being offered to him. According to RadarOnline, Masche was offered a plea agreement that will keep him from spending any time in prison.
The reality dad was charged with resisting arrest and domestic violence after a fight with his wife Jenny in September. RadarOnline is reporting that the plea would find Masche pleading guilty to the misdemeanor charges of threatening and intimidating, as well as disorderly conduct per domestic violence.
This would let the busy father avoid jail time but would mandate him to take parenting classes and require him to receive counseling. Continue reading »
Farrah Abraham, one of the teen mothers featured in the MTV reality show ‘Teen Mom” was allegedly choked and hit by her mother, Debra Danielson, this weekend. Danielson is now facing domestic violence charges.
Attention-starved Tila Tequila is once again using the death of Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson in order to garner publicity for herself. Isn’t there a name for someone like that? Oh right — this is a family site.
