Paul Rudd and Paul McCartney rocked it on Saturday Night Live last night!  If you didn’t see last night’s SNL, here are a few of my favorite parts from the show.

Paul Rudd’s opening monologue was very funny and Paul McCartney delivered a stellar musical performance, watch the video clips of Paul and Paul here. I’m a hopeless Paul Rudd fan but reviews of Rudd’s hosting gig have been positive.

There were several good sketches on last night’s SNL, and Paul Rudd was strong in every skit he was in. He killed it as the nerdy math teacher at a high school assembly. Paul Rudd was in a weird but funny SNL Digital Short, “Stumblin,’” where Andy Samberg and Rudd ran stumbling around New York to the tune of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” with some help from Paul McCartney singing. Kind of  an odd clip but worth watching. Continue reading »

The Video Game Awards 2010 aired last night on Spike TV hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.  As always, the multi-talented Harris was awesome as show host! Famecrawler live blogged the VGA awards last night.  The VGAs are like the Academy Awards for gamer geeks, you can check out the VGA winners.

Dinner for Schmucks is a new movie starring funnymen Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. The basic premise of the film is that Tim (Rudd) is a rising executive who “succeeds” in finding the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Carell), for his boss’s monthly event, a so-called “dinner for idiots,” which offers certain advantages to the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.* Sounds hilarious, right?
