Director Will Not Recast Lindsay Lohan In Film Inferno
According to recent reports, director Matthew Wilder released a statement explaining that he will be wait for Lindsay to finish rehab rather than recasting her role in the upcoming film Inferno. He also claimed that the studio “would not be replacing her with another person,” but rather begin filming when Lindsay feels ready to begin work post-rehab.
“She’s good and productive and thinking about life beyond [rehab]. I think she feels a little cooped up there, but she’s okay,” Wilder states.
That’s a lot of pressure to put on a young, recovering girl who has recently stated that she is having financial issues to boot. To make matters worse, Lindsay doesn’t really have any strong parental figure to help guide and support her through this difficult time. Her father’s motives are constantly being questioned, and her medical reports even labeled her family situation as being dysfunctional. If you ask me, saving a role for Lindsay is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.
Do you think the waiting role and her current financial state will push Lindsay into working before she is mentally and physically ready to do so?

Michael Lohan’s Last Resort
All aboard for the crazy train! It appears that Michael Lohan has hit an all-time low in his attempts to make contact with his recovering daughter Lindsay Lohan. According to TMZ.com, Michael has formulated a foolish plan to see Lindsay at the Betty Ford clinic that apparently includes the following:
Step 1:Show up at Betty Ford clinic demanding that he be let in
Step 2: Stage his own arrest to show his love for his daughter
Step 3: Become a drunk and check himself into the clinic as a patient
No wonder this poor girl has problems! It is clear that Lindsay has no interest in seeing her father while she is in her fragile state, so why is he concocting such ridiculous plans to push himself into her life? His antics are not helping anything, and they seem to be getting more and more intense and absurd as the days go on. When will this man give his daughter the space she needs to properly heal?
Get it together, Michael. Two drunks won’t make it right.

Lindsay Lohan Considering Betty Ford Clinic: What Other Celebs Went There?
Fifth time’s the charm? Everyone close to Lindsay Lohan is hoping so. The substance-abusing actress is reportedly deciding which rehab facility to attend to help her get clean (or make the appearance that she’s trying?) and the famous Betty Ford Clinic is in the running. At least one inside source seems to believe that despite time in jail, multiple stints in rehab and a recent failed drug test, that Lohan still doesn’t understand how serious her addiction is. Michael Lohan: I Wish She Would Just Listen To Me
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this may not be the best idea, given the difficult situation that Lindsay has unfortunately fallen back into. After hearing of his daughter’s recent failed drug tests, Michael Lohan took it upon himself to explain what Lindsay needs in order to make it through her tough times. The shocker? Michael thinks that HE could be the key to keeping Lindsay clean!
The famous father tells RadarOnline.com, “Her manager and her friends failed, they failed beyond belief [and] I will do all that I have to call them out. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I wish she would just listen to me and just let me into your life. I’m telling you if you had me in your life this never would happen. If she had her father in her life she wouldn’t have this inner turmoil. She wants to numb the pain.”
Is Michael suggesting that his guidance is more powerful than a full-blown drug addiction? I believe in the strength of good parenting, but I can’t help but feel that his supposedly “genuine” concern and offer to help came far, far too late. Although he has been accused of being absent in his daughter’s life, Michael continues to blame others for his daughter’s fall from grace. Continue reading »
Michael Lohan Is Thankful To God
Michael Lohan sure knows how to ride his daughter Lindsay’s coattails! The morning after Lindsay made a cameo appearance at the MTV VMA’s parody-ing her current ‘situation’, her father spoke to UsMagazine.com about how thankful he is that she’s getting her life back on track.
“For a LONG time now I have been worrying and praying that the my ‘blessed and gifted’ daughter would find her way back, At times, I was too vocal, I made the wrong decisions and certainly handled things the wrong way. I constantly asked God that if it was His will to take me before her, which I stand by to this day.”
“While some have made their pacts with the devil, I made mine with God, to take me first, or simply help Lindsay find her way back, and if so, He can do whatever He wants with me,” Continue reading »
Lindsay Lohan Has Reunited With Her Family

Lindsay Lohan to Possibly Spill Guts to Oprah
Word has it Lindsay Lohan is trying to decide where to take her post-rehabbed self to plead her case to the public — and she’s considering Oprah’s couch. A source close to Lohan confirmed that the actress is currently weighing her options: “Several entities are being considered, and no decision has been made and won’t be for awhile.” If Lohan chooses Oprah, she better be ready to tell it like it is. Oprah doesn’t like liars. Remember her tearing into James Frey after he admitted fabricating parts of (okay, maybe the majority of?) A Million Little Pieces and duping Oprah along with the rest of the memoir-reading world? Hell hath no fury like an Oprah duped! Continue reading »
