Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock said to co-star in King's newest comedy!
According to sources, two of our favorite celeb moms Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock are both said to star in the next film from Michael Patrick King, who also wrote and directed the highly-anticipated “Sex and the City” films.
But wait, it gets better. This star-studded super cast can only be amplified into Hollywood heaven by adding the one and only Oprah Winfrey to the mix! Meryl, Sandra, AND Oprah? Oh my!
The currently unnamed Universal Pictures comedy is based around characters at a home shopping network who, according to the studio, deal with “marketing, marriages and the media.” It seems like quite the interesting angle, don’t you think?
Although King’s “Sex and the City” films received a lot of criticism, this star-studded cast and different plot line makes this film seem promising already! Would you go see Meryl, Sandra, and Oprah in King’s new comedy?

Harvard is the top school once again. The Ivy League tie has been broken and Harvard is the winner. Last year Harvard was neck and neck with Princeton but beat them by 1 in the in just-released rankings of the nation’s top universities.
“On a scale of 100, Harvard beat Princeton by 1,” said Robert Morse of U.S. News & World Report, who was in charge of crunching the numbers.
Yale was in third place, and the city’s Ivy League player, Columbia, vaulted to No. 4, from eighth place last year.

Meryl Streep and Sigourney Weaver earned an MFA from Yale School of Drama. Weaver graduated on year before her friend and future colleague, Streep.
Forbes has released their annual list of Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actresses. Not surprisingly Sandra Bullock pulled in the top spot as the best paid actress. Many of our other favorite celebrity moms made the list – Reese, Sarah Jessica, and Julia to name a few. Did your favorite celebrity mom make the list?
#1 Sandra Bullock – $56 million
This has been a year with both the highest of highs and the lowest of lows for this new mom. The spring was a flurry of activity for Bullock who won the Oscar for Best Actress for her starring role in The Blind Side followed by the news of her adoption of son Louis and her divorce from husband Jesse James.
There were lots of winners and also losers at the SAG Awards over the weekend. Not just winner of the award itself but fashion winners of the red carpet. Check out the best and worst of these famous moms all dolled up here.

Meryl Streep took home a statuette at Sunday Night’s 67th Annual Golden Globes ceremony by beating out…Meryl Streep. The actress won for her portrayal of chef Julia Child in “Julie & Julia,” and was competing against herself – she was also nominated for “It’s Complicated.” In a speech that would make any parent proud, Streep recalled her late mother and her “joy in living.”
