The biological father of Madonna‘s adopted daughter, Mercy James, has spoken out about his desire to see photos of his daughter and hope that he will one day meet her.
James Kambewa, who is currently a waiter in South Africa, told the Daily Mail, “I would appreciate if Madonna could send me pictures of how she looks like now as I don’t get any pleasure of being with her.”
“It’s emotionally painful for me as a father. I’m very happy that Madonna is taking care of her. But as a parent, from the moment I heard that she was still alive, I wanted to meet her and I’m hopeful that I’ll meet her one day.”
Madonna was seen filming scenes on the set of her latest movie “W.E.” on the streets of London. Dressed in a rather interesting outfit, her kids Rocco, Lourdes and Mercy visited the superstar on set in between shooting takes.
But she looks weary.
Based on an original screenplay, “W.E.” was written by Madonna and Alek Keshishian and tells the story of a modern New Yorker who becomes obsessed with what she percieves to be the greatest love story ever, that of Britain’s King Edward VIII and the divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson.
Madonna has said, “I’ve been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It’s been kind of an obsession of mine.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, plus the occasional grandparent, have been spotted out in Venice a lot lately as Angelina films her upcoming movie The Tourist with Johnny Depp.
But Italy isn’t the only place these kids have visited. The twins were born in Nice, France and Shiloh came into the world in Nambia. Some of the kids have been more places since they’re older, but their collective passports boast Jordan, Iraq, France, England, Japan, the list goes on and on and includes US cities New Orleans, Chicago, LA, and New York to name a few.
And while I am seriously jealous, this is a lot of travel for young ones. Some might claim that there is not enough stability and the constant uprooting is not healthy. However, plenty of celebrity moms disagree and bring their kids around the world with them while they work!
Celebrities do everything to excess so it’s no surprise they take dressing their children to another level. Hand me downs and just sticking your kid in anything and letting them get dirty is not something you would ever see the likes of mini fashion icon Suri Cruise associated with. And yes, I said fashion icon despite the fact that she’s 3 years old.

Lourdes Leon was seen leaving the Kabbalah Centre in London yesterday with mom and avid follower Madonna. Madonna has collaborated with the Kabbalah Centre on “Raising Malawi,” which will provide relief aid to the African nation of Malawi, the country of origin of her two adopted children, David Banda and Mercy James.

Whether it’s wearing cute casual clothes or designer outfits, this 4-year-old is gaining column inches so fast, it’s possible she could rival Suri Cruise as the most stylish celebrity kid around someday.
