Mel B just gave birth to her third child, a daughter, who is her first baby with husband Stephen Belafonte. The baby was born on September 1st, and Mel and Stephen named her Madison Brown Belafonte.
Mel and Stephen must have been craving a little alone time, because they were spotted out on a dinner date at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills. Considering she just had a baby not quite two weeks ago, Mel B looks great, but it is so refreshing to see a celebrity mom with a “normal” looking post-baby body.
So many famous mamas step out in their skinny jeans right after giving birth, which can make us “regular” moms pretty down and depressed.
Mel B enlisted the help of her daughter, Phoenix, to name her newborn baby girl.
Spice Girl Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice, let her daughter, Phoenix, have the honors of naming her newborn daughter, but it seems to be a stalled process.
On Friday, Mel B tweeted, “My daughter Phoenix wants to pick her sisters baby name,so fingers crossed she picks a good one!!” Cute idea, but not thought out.
Because on Saturday (Sept. 3), she said, “Phoenix has named our baby girl the cutest name,can’t wait for you guys to hear it,soon ma peeps,” which was followed by this message late last night (Sept. 4), “Phoenix my daughter is still deciding our babies name,i don’t wanna rush her,it will be soon!”
So much back and forth! Let’s hope it’s worth the wait.

At least we know there will be Victoria Beckham and Mel B playdates in the future. Mel B tweeted, “@victoriabeckham ahhhh thank you that means a lot to me,hopefully our girls can get together soon!!”

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, welcomed a third daughter into the world on Thursday (September 1).
And in celebration of the happy occasion, we decided to take a look at all the Spice Girls and their children including Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell.
Melanie Chisolm (aka Sporty Spice) also has a 2-year-old daughter, Scarlet Starr. She was the final one of the Spice Girls to become a mother.

A new Spice Girl is born!
Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed a baby girl in Los Angeles last night.
This morning she tweeted:
“I wanna thank you ALL for your beautiful well wishes,it means a lot to me,you guys are the best,I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!”
No word yet on the details of the birth or of the baby’s name.
The well wishes are already pouring in from friends.

Finally! It looks like Melanie Brown aka Mel B will be welcoming her third child into the world. It seems like Mel B has been pregnant for ages, and I’m sure she felt the same way. On Thursday she was rushed to the hospital with the aid of her husband Stephen Belafonte and her bodyguard. She wore her PJs, a pair of Uggs and a very pained look on her face, so it looks like she was in some pretty active labor.
Before going into labor, everything seemed normal in the early hours of the morning, she even had her hubby make her a snack at 4 a.m. (and a healthy one at that). She tweeted, “‘@Stephenthinks1 is cooking me chicken and greens,i have the best hubby EVER!!” But it turned out that was her last night before her new arrival.

Melanie Brown's Baby Is Overdue
It’s official! Former Spice Girl Mel B’s newest addition is officially overdue. The singer / host is anxiously awaiting her third child and it appears that the baby is in no hurry to make its debut. Mel tweeted the news, “yep thats right i am over due with this baby,and this is a first!!”
Don’t worry though, Mel already has a plan to help get the baby moving and she promises that it will make its arrival sometime this week. She tells Radar Online, “I just had my doctor on the phone and he’s given me some ultimatums which are good. It’s coming out this week, one way or another it’s coming out this week.”
Mel B is expecting to give birth any day now!
The countdown is on for Hollywood mom Melanie Brown, who is expecting her third child any day now, but unfortunately is still unprepared when it comes to picking out a name for the baby.
