Michelle Williams Keeps Short Hair In Memory Of Heath Ledger (Photos)
Former Dawson’s Creek beauty Michelle Williams covers the December issue of British Elle. The actress who is set to star in My Week With Marilyn, talks about her pixie-styled haircut.
Williams reveals that one reason she keeps her cropped do is because of her daughter’s late father, Heath Ledger. ”What Matilda would love is for her mom to grow out the cropped hair, though that’s unlikely to happen any time soon. I cut it for the one straight man who has ever liked short hair and I wear it in memorial of somebody who really loved it.”
Williams adds, “I’ve really grown into it – I feel like myself with short hair. And it’s been a really long time since I had long hair, five years. Of course, the only people who like it are gay men and my girlfriends. Straight men across the board are not into this hair!”

Michelle Williams Showers Matilda With A Puppy
It’s very rare that we hear about Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda. So when we do, it’s definitely a delightful bonus.
With Matilda’s 6th birthday coming up, Williams revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she purchased a puppy. The puppy is a mixed “sort of Spaniel thing.”
But as fun as puppies are, Williams has a tough time letting Matilda pick out the name.
“Her first ideas were…they sounded like stripper names! She wanted something like, Crystal, Gem or Diamond,” Michelle, 31, laughed. “I was like, ‘We can’t have a dog named [that!].”
Naomi Watts Talks Dreams For Her Sons, Her Late Start In Motherhood, and Her Relationship With Heath Ledger
Naomi Watts graces the cover of More magazine’s October issue. Inside the pages, the 43-year-old actress opens up about her dreams for her sons, her late start to motherhood, and her relationship with the late Heath Ledger.
Watts has big goals as a mother. She says, ”I want them to feel connected to me and me to them. Always. I want them, above all, to feel sure of who they are. That they are safe in the world and confident and happy people. And of course, connected – to their parents, their friends, their family, the world and themselves. This is the most important goal/dream in my life. Everything else is gravy.”
As far as having children at 40-year-old with actor Liev Schreiber, she says, she says, “I think I’m a better parent. I had a lot I wanted to do when I was younger, and perhaps I wouldn’t have been as focused; I got a lot out of the way in terms of my own dreams.”
Watts dated Ledger for over a year back in 2003 and has wonderful memories of the late actor. “We had a beautiful relationship, only a couple of years, but he was a man who was completely full of joy, and there was a lot of laughing and affection. He was really a very special soul and made a great impact on my life. And a great actor, but I know there was so much more to come. And it’s such a tragedy for his little daughter [Matilda].”

Amy Winehouse’s Passing Triggers Memory Of Heath Ledger: Where’s Matilda? (Photos)
Over the past few years, we’ve lost some of the greatest talent around including Heath Ledger and most recently Amy Winehouse. And with the musical legend’s recent passing, memories are triggered of the untimely passing of the Dark Knight star. But where’s his beautiful daughter, Matilda Ledger, that he left behind?
Matilda’s mom Michelle Williams has done an impeccable job keeping her daughter out of the limelight. Matilda is turning 6-years-old at the end of this summer and she has been MIA since summer 2010. That’s a hard feat to accomplish as a celebrity parent.
Williams recently admitted that she plans on watching Brokeback Mountain with her daughter when she gets older. ”I was just an actor who happened to be lucky enough to be in the right place, and it was the place where I met Matilda’s father, and that is a lot,” she said.
“It was a lot. And it will be a lot for Matilda too, when she gets around to watching it. I will watch it with her, when she’s ready. It is hard to imagine what that would feel like, but one day, yes, we will watch it together.”
How Do Celeb Kids Roll? They Scoot! (Photos)
Plenty of celebrity kids are used to living in the lap of luxury and riding around in limos and traveling on private jets, but it’s important to remember that even though they are famous, they are still children! Kids love to have fun, and there is a growing trend in how celeb kids roll around town…they scoot!
Forget bicycles! The hottest mode of transportation for the children of famous parents is definitely the scooter. Hugh Jackman is often seen following his daughter, Ava, around New York City while she scoots. In this particular photo, it looks like she’s giving him a real workout!
The Trendiest Transport For NYC’s Cool Kids: The Scooter
Most locals don’t drive in Manhattan. The traffic is insane and parking costs are sky high for those living in garage-less skyscrapers. Plus, there’s is really no reason to deal with the hassle since you can hail a cab anytime on any street corner. Taxi is definitely the mode of transport du jour, followed closely by the subway. If it’s within walking distance, then the feet have it.
But for the city’s coolest tykes, cabs, trains, and regular old clomping along are maaadddd old school. The hottest way for the three feet and under set to travel is by scooter.
Kate Hudson was seen out scootin around with her son Ryder today enjoying the sunshine. Click through to see what other celebrity kids are hip to this trend. Continue reading »
Michelle Williams, Ryan Gosling Looking Like A Couple
Gossips are wagging their tongues over Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling’s couple-like behavior at Cannes. Maybe it’s all wishful thinking. I mean, look (look!) at the picture—cute as a button, both of them. Or maybe it’s for real. Or maybe it’s a result of the intense filming, and shockingly hot sex scenes (not fit for kids like Matilda to watch, details below), of their new film, Blue Valentine.
