Madonna and her daughter Lourdes swap fashion tips!
The Material Girl’s 14-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon is way ahead of becoming a style icon, just like her mom.
The mother-daughter duo are already designing together on their teen-focused “Material Girl” fashion line and will now include a beauty range and intimate, denim, outerwear and dress collections.
She even gives her mom fashion tips!
“Everyday. I will be like, ‘Mom, you can’t wear that.’ Or she will be like, ‘Lola, you can’t wear that.’ A lot of the time we don’t listen to each other, but sometimes we do,” Leon told the Associated Press.
Although she and her mom disagree on certain fashions, Leon says she usually wins out when it comes to the fashion line.
“I have to tell her, ‘Mom, it is the in thing. This is what kids are doing now. If you don’t do this, then it is going to suck.’ And then she usually gives in.”

Madonna‘s daughter, Lourdes Leon, became a New York City public school student Wednesday.
Lourdes who is now 13, hugged a few friends and chatted with others after arriving at a Manhattan school at 8 a.m.
Celebrities are people too with kids who go to school, but the fact that Lourdes is going to a public school makes it more interesting.
A fellow freshman spoke about Lourdes saying, “She was talking to people. … She blends in with everyone. She seems like a normal person.”
Understandably, Lourdes looked around warily for photographers, declining to comment as she headed into the school with her classmates.
Madonna was seen filming scenes on the set of her latest movie “W.E.” on the streets of London. Dressed in a rather interesting outfit, her kids Rocco, Lourdes and Mercy visited the superstar on set in between shooting takes.
But she looks weary.
Based on an original screenplay, “W.E.” was written by Madonna and Alek Keshishian and tells the story of a modern New Yorker who becomes obsessed with what she percieves to be the greatest love story ever, that of Britain’s King Edward VIII and the divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson.
Madonna has said, “I’ve been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It’s been kind of an obsession of mine.”
Looks like Madonna might be moving to New York permanently which means finding a school for her daughter. Instead of enrolling Lourdes in a fancy schmancy private school, the 13 year old is trying to attend
Celebrities do everything to excess so it’s no surprise they take dressing their children to another level. Hand me downs and just sticking your kid in anything and letting them get dirty is not something you would ever see the likes of mini fashion icon Suri Cruise associated with. And yes, I said fashion icon despite the fact that she’s 3 years old.
