Kids today have all sorts of children’s programing on TV at all hours of the day. They play computer games and can teach their grandparents to play along with them. My 2 year-old could work my iPhone better than I could when I first got it.
But, not all parents embrace technology. Celeb mom Leelee Sobieskiwants to raise her daughter the old fashioned way: without technology! No TV or games for her daughter Louisanna “Lewi” Ray. There is only one song that she’ll watch on the computer and a 5-minute short film. No other shows and no games!

LeeLee Sobieski Lands Role In CBS Pilot, 'Rookies.'
LeeLee Sobieski has landed a role in the new CBS drama pilot Rookies.
Rookies centers on six new NYPD cops trying to balance their personal lives while working the mean streets of Manhattan.
The 28-year-old actress got her big break in the CBS TV movie Joan of Arc. She will play Gen Perry, a California girl who previously worked as a member of the White House Color Guard.
Robert De Niro will act as executive producer along with crime novelist Richard Price (Clockers) and Little Fockers producer Jane Rosenthal.
Sobieski also starred in Deep Impactand Never Been Kissed. She recently guest-starred on The Good Wife.
You might remember Leelee Sobieski from her years as a very successful teen actress. By the age of 17, she was starring in movies with accomplished acting vets like Drew Barrymore and Tom Cruise, and seamlessly transitioning back and forth between drama and comedy. And unlike many of her peers, the 27-year-old avoided falling into the “child actor” trap, rarely seen out partying, let alone facing jail time.
Instead, the Emmy-nominated star slipped out of the spotlight to become a mom. Her 9-month-old daughter, Louisanna (aka Lewi), with fiance Adam Kimmel, is now the main attraction in Leelee’s life. “My baby is really fascinating to me,” Sobieski says in this week’s People magazine, adding that she spends her time teaching her daughter new things in their New York City apartment instead of going on auditions.

Motherhood agrees with Leelee Sobiski! Leelee and Adam Kimmel were spotted on a New York City street, walking baby Louisianna this morning. Leelee couldn’t have looked happier, or more gorgeous. She and Kimmel, a menswear designer whose looks are available at Barney’s and Jeffrey, have been engaged since last summer. Scroll down for another Leelee photo.
Another day, another refreshing instance of celebrity mom-hair. Yes, nothing makes me feel better about myself than seeing someone famous with her hair askew. In the case of Leelee Sobieski (with 4-month-old Louisiana), it’s a matter of major askewedness. And it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
