Brad Pitt and kids are in Venice while Angelina Jolie films The Tourist. The Jolie-Pitt Italian escapades have been documented in detail. But what about Angelina’s Tourist co-star, Johnny Depp? Today, after the jump, we offer a photo of the boat Depp has brought to Venice for his sojourn. Feel free to compare it to the boat Pitt (and kids) rented for their weekend jaunt.

And because we’d hate for you to miss a second in the lives of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and her siblings Zahara, Maddox, and Pax, we return with more photos. This batch documents their saturday playground session, which immediately preceded the already discussed Jolie-Pitt Venice boat trip.
It’s the weekend (and GORGEOUS here in New York), which means bbqs, overheated apartments, agonizing hours in the overcrowded playground, and mammoth naps. Unless you’re the Jolie-Pitt crew. They spent this morning on a dreamy canal boat trip in Venice, where mom Angelina Jolie is currently filming The Tourist. Of course, being the Jolie-Pitts, it wasn’t just any boat. They were on a boat with serious celebrity pedigree.
It’s nice, and I mean this in the most sincere way, to see that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt parent like the rest of us. Here they are employing the classic table-saving technique in which one parent, in this case Pitt, takes an older child to stand in line at the cafe counter while the other, Jolie, takes the remaining kids and lays claim to a vacant table. Once seated any number of activities can be used to maintain said table and a little thing they call harmony. It would appear that Angelina Jolie is engaging her youngsters in the ancient art of conversation* as evidenced by the lack of electronic devices and/or crayons. Continue reading »
