What Are Michael Jackson’s Children Really Like?

For years, Michael Jackson’s children, Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II (nicknamed Blanket), were hidden from the public.  When they did make an appearance, they wore masks and no one really ever heard them speak, or knew a lot about them.  Shortly before Michael’s death, the kids were seen out more than they had been in the past and sometimes without their masks.  What are Jackson’s children’s really like?

Paris Jackson, the 11-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, gave a brief, but heartfelt speech at her father’s memorial.  Although some have speculated that the young girl was put up to it by Jackson family members, sources say Paris wanted to do it.  The only daughter of Michael’s said,  ”I want to tell them about daddy.”

Michael Jackson’s Final Rehearsal (VIDEO)

A video has surfaced showing an energetic Michael Jackson rehearsing at the Staples Center two days before his death.  The singer was rehearsing for his comeback London tour set to take place this summer. Ironically, the Staples Center is the same venue that is reported to be the site of his memorial service next Tuesday.

I wonder if seeing this video and other footage Jackson would be difficult for his kids, or would bring some measure of solace. I imagine it might be hard for son Prince, 12, who was set to do a duet on stage with his father. Such a sad, tragic story anyway you look at it. I really feel for his kids.

According to MJ’s second wife Debbie Rowe, the explosive interview - in which she allegedly revealed that Michael was not the biological father of children Prince Michael and Paris - was a total fabrication. In fact, it never even happened. The tabloid that reported it - News of the World - has even scrubbed the article from its website.

I get it - people want to know everything they can about their idol, favorite celeb, icon, musical genius,whatever Michael Jackson was to them.  But do we need to see a so-called “death” photo?  What if Jackson’s kids see it?  The actual death of their father is traumatic enough, and seeing a photo of his last moments can only upset them further.
