Talk about your short-lived unions. Just a year after they wed, Jane Carrey and Alex Santana have split, which is extra sad because they just welcomed their first child, son Jackson, earlier this year. No reason has been given for the split, though her rep insists they’re still “great friends” (reps should really stop saying that, since we know it’s not true). Proud grandpa Jim Carrey was spotted yesterday at a Malibu beach house with daughter Jane and grandson Jackson, born in February. No “lady friend” seems to be in the group, so perhaps Carrey is still grieving the demise of his relationship with Jenny McCarthy, who was seems to have bounced back more quickly. The usual Twitter-happy new grandfather hasn’t sent out a Tweet since May 27, so who knows what’s on his mind!
