Katie Holmes daughter Suri will be turning 5 on April 18. The little princess will be celebrating her birthday with a tea party. Here in the pic, her mom was holding onto Suri’s blue lollipop as the mother-daughter duo fly out of NYC in a helicopter to an awaiting airplane.
Moses Martin
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s son Moses Martin will be turning 5 on April 8th. I still love how Martin and Paltrow met in 2002 backstage at a Coldplay concert. They married a year later and then had their daughter Apple Blythe Alison Martin on 14 May 2004.
The family that plays with makeup together stays together? Johnny Depp’s long-time love and mother of his children, Vanessa Paradis, says she wouldn’t change a thing about him. Superstar celeb dad Johnny Depp surprised the audience at Disney’s D23 Expo last weekend by sailing on to the stage in a replica of The Black Pearl, decked out as his legendary alter ego Captain Jack Sparrow. The purpose: announce the name of the latest installment of the Pirates series Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Honestly, I’m not real keen on the name, but they can do just about anything wrong at this point, as long as Depp is in the movie, it’s as good as gold.
As weird as it seems, Johnny Depp seems to be genuinely enthused to play Captain Jack Sparrow for the 4th time. For $64M, I guess JD should be pretty enthusiastic.
Still, it strikes me as kinda odd that Depp would be willing to do cheese-ball publicity stunts for the latest POTC movie — it doesn’t even open until 2011. He must just love doing children’s movies that much.
At this point, a pretty huge chunk of Johnny’s work is kid-friendly. Apparently, that’s one of the biggest reasons he continues to play Capt. Sparrow — because his son Jack, 5, loves the character.
