iTunes announcement: What could it be?
When Apple teased on its web site that it would be making a big iTunes announcement tomorrow, the only thing going through my mind was “dear God, let it be an iPod with a built-in babysitter.” Those things would sell out faster than a Justin Bieber concert.
Apparently techie types say the announcement will have something to do with cloud computing, which to me conjures up notions of white computers with fluffy keyboards. If Apple really wants to corner the parent market, here’s nine more things that would sell out in a second:
Looks like Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo, Jenny From The Block, has taken on yet another identity. A new song, titled ‘Fresh Out Of The Oven,’ was released on the web today and credited to an artist named “Lola.” But there’s no disguising the singer’s identity – it sounds exactly like Lopez. The worst part of parenting? Having to give your kids ‘The Talk’ during dinner in the middle of a crowded restaurant. Oh – that’s not the way to do it? No wonder my kids get all their information from the internet. Well, it looks like Michelle Branch doesn’t have anything to worry about; daughter Owen, 4, already knows a thing or two.
OK! magazine is reporting that Britney Spears has split with fiancé Jason Trawick. Who knew they were engaged? Not me, although I haven’t kept up with Britney’s career for awhile, not since she was shaving her head and bashing cars with her umbrella.
After any celebrity death interest is increased in everything they’ve ever done. I guess it’s a way of showing appreciation and grief at the same time. Michael Jackson’s death is no different.
In a rare sighting, Michael Jackson’s two oldest children Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, were spotted tagging along with their dad to his L.A. recording studio yesterday. Jackson had apparently declared the day Casual Wednesday and allowed the kids to be seen without their customary masks. Dad, however, still looks like he’s wearing his.
