Construction is nearing completion on Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s $25 million Brentwood mega-mansion.
In 2008, the couple paid $11.75 million for the 3.6 acre plot of land, which has views of the ocean, coastline, city, and surrounding canyons. The lot had been listed for sale at $12.9 million, and included plans for a 11,500-square-foot Mediterranean style mansion prepared by award-winning architect Bing Hu.
The New England Patriots star quarterback and his supermodel wife, along with their son, are now located in the gated Brentwood Country Estates section of Brentwood and on the same street as Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Celebrity couple, Heidi Klum and Seal, recently bought the estate directly across the street.

Breastfeeding is a hot topic these days! Is it because August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month?
First it was Gisele Bundchen‘s recent comments about breastfeeding have sparked a controversy that has turned rather ugly. The supermodel, who gave birth to son Benjamin in December, recently told Harper’s Bazaar UK that she thinks there should be “a worldwide law” requiring mothers to “breastfeed their babies for six months.”
“Some people (in the US) think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think, ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?’” Bundchen said in the magazine’s September issue.
Critics slammed the Brazilian beauty for her insensitivity towards other mothers with opposing beliefs. Gisele later responded to the controversy by writing on her blog, stating, ” My intention in making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law.”
Today actress Constance Marie wrote about her breastfeeding journey on PEOPLE in her final blog post. The moment her daughter Luna Marie rooted for her breast, she realized “nursing was a primal, natural thing that wasn’t so much my decision as it was a natural process. It was Luna Marie’s instinct so I would do my best to honor that.”
But for Constance, breastfeeding didn’t go perfectly. While in hospital, her milk didn’t come in quickly enough. She got the hang of it and breastfed her daughter like a pro for nine months.
Nice to see someone is able to keep a secret these days. Tom Brady recently reveled that although he knows the sex of the baby he’s having with wife supermodel Gisele, he is keeping mum.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady celebrated Father’s Day at a park in Pacific Palisades with Tom’s son John Edward. Gisele and Tom are expecting their first child together early next year. They look like they had a good time – probably trying to squeeze in as much fun as they can before their days are filled with trips to the baby store looking for cribs and car seats.
